Our competition uses fiberglass sheets to wall the trucks and trailers which stain and break off over the time. At Cruisine we only use food graded stainless steel #304. Best quality and durability on the market.
Aluminum checkered sheets are 14 gauge thickness and we don’t cheap out on quality.
At Cruisine we use the best products on the market. Super durable glue from Le Page is an ultimate bond between the plywood and the stainless walls.
Our plumbing is all about quality. We do not use plastic connectors that break and leak over time. We use brass products to ensure the quality.
Water tanks that we use are food graded and very thick solid build. We support local businesses in BC.
We suggest to change all six tires on the truck, before starting operating as most of courier trucks tires are rethreaded. Most companies use them as they are cheaper substitute than a new tire, although these tires are made to be driven below 90km/h. At the faster speeds these tires can blow up.
Whenever we install electric water heater we don’t use household products like Rheems as over the time they break due to the vibrations of the vehicle. We use only high quality water heaters from Bosch which are made in Germany. They are the best quality that lasts.
As per our electrical we install automatic transfer switches that ease up your operations and your work load on the truck. This no brainer technology from Southwire is perfect as it recognizes where the energy is coming in and automatically switches to the right source. No need for more switches and brain freeze on how to operate a truck.
We only use tankless water heaters that are made for the RV use. They are all CSA approved for the standards and quality. Operating these is super easy as the onboard computer in control module does everything automatically. Another no thinking product that we chose to use on your vehicle or trailer.
Generator is a heart of your mobile business. We chose to partner with the leader in the industry and the best generators in the world. Cummins Onan is our only choice moving ahead in 2024 as they also offer their new mobile versions of quiet generators that are super quiet and reliable and they can use dual fuel (PROPANE AND GAS)
Our lightning is of a superb quality. We only use high end LED lights that are locally sourced and reliable, waterproof and can carry the load of the weather, rain or shine. We work with RAB and Standard the local suppliers. We do not use anything bought on Amazon.
We partnered with Cascadia Metals which are the local leaders in sheet metal production as we know we will get the best food grade stainless steel for our projects.
Insulation is a very crucial part when building a truck or a trailer. Our competitors use rock wool or Roxul products which are made specifically for the use in housing. Using them on food trucks and trailers the rock wool will started to accumulate the mould and smell as the walls in the truck or trailer are just couple of inches thick and there is no vapor barrier in between, hence the condensation goes right into the Roxul material. We use R rated Dura span foam sheets that have a vapor barrier on both sides of the sheets so there will never be any mould growth or smell.
During the insulation installation we take a great care on how we tape the vapor barrier to prevent water to condensate on the inside of the truck. We take our time to build your unit and do it the proper way!
